Who do you think of when you hear the words “sunny disposition” ? And how does this person make you feel? I think of this little guy, right away! “G” is truly a happy baby, through and through, and every time I see him, he makes me smile and laugh with his perfect cuteness! And just look at those amazing blue eyes! So vibrant! I think I could say with quite a lot of certainty that “G” is a smiley, giggly baby with a sunny disposition, almost 100% of the time. Knowing his parents and big brother, this fact doesn’t surprise me. They too are incredibly positive, kind, and gracious people, and those qualities have definitely taken their place inside this little baby’s heart. His expressions show such JOY and it’s totally clear when you see him in his photos. This is the third time I’ve worked with the “V” family — taking the gorgeous Mom’s belly photos, then “G’s” three month photos, and now his six month photos! We had a lot of fun using their yard as a pretty backdrop, and soaking in that awesome early evening sun. We had two sessions — this one being the first half. Before we left on vacation to visit my family in Arizona I dashed over to their house to get these shots and then finished the session when I got back… So check back to see more family photos from “V” session part 2! “B” Family Session — Maryland Family and Maternity Photographer

I like going to the dentist. Really! I do! I like going to the dentist because of the people who work there, not because of the work I need done there. Despite great dental hygiene practices, my teeth have issues…mainly the tendency to crack. So I’m at the dentist’s office a LOT…which normally could be a real drag, I know! But the people who work at my dentist’s office are awesome! And so, I actually don’t mind going. This is where I met one of my dental hygienists, Meagan. She immediately put me at ease, chatting with me like we’d known each other for years. Don’t you love that? A few months ago Meagan told me that she and her husband were expecting their first baby. Yippee! This was great news! Being a mom who is totally head-over-heels for my boys, I am always thrilled for people who are anticipating a beautiful new life! It’s the best thing ever. Meagan asked me if I would take her maternity photos, and I said that I couldn’t wait (but would have to..she was hardly showing yet)! So, Meagan, here is a little peek into the fun we had that sunny afternoon…My thanks to you and your husband for putting me at ease once again! Enjoy!

“V” Family Session — Maryland Family and Maternity Photographer

While taking the boys for a walk a couple of years ago I noticed a family moving into one of the houses on our street, so we stopped to chat and welcome this new family to our neighborhood. It was exciting to find out that we all had a lot in common — our families had roots in Iowa, a passion for sports, funny dogs, and boys! We hit it off right away and although our lives are busy and we only saw each other a few times after that, it was still nice to know that we lived just down the street from a great family. We kept in touch mainly through mutual friends and facebook, and had hopes to get together for dinner one night. A few weeks ago, the wife and mother emailed me to ask if I would be interested in taking family photos as well as her baby belly — I said YES! Absolutely! I was thrilled. Here is a sneak peek of this awesome family. I can’t wait to meet the new arrival!
