“D” Family Session — Maryland Family Portrait Photographer

I’m behind on my blogging!  This has to be the busiest month I’ve had in years…I’m comparing it to finals week in college!  So much to do, deadlines to meet, and quite frankly, much FUN to be had!  And it’s been all of that and more.  Last weekend I had four sessions that were all unique and precious, and I’ll do my best to post them as soon as possible.

About a month ago my son’s fantastic school asked me to take photos during Grandparent’s Day and this was when I first met the wife and mother from the “D” family.  The moment they opened the door and invited me into their gorgeous home, I knew that this session would result in great photos and a great new friendship.  This family was a delight to photograph…They are kind and gracious, intelligent and down to earth, and I think you can see that here in these photos.  The girls clearly adore each other (check out how the youngest literally looks up to her sister) and I truly felt so much love all around.  Plus, they are dog people — my favorite!  They fostered spirited “Cocoa” and naturally ended up keeping her as one of their own.  The last photo is hilarious — we tried!
