Just to let you know a little bit about myself….
Being a wife and mother brings me more happiness than I could have ever imagined.
My greatest sources of love and light are my husband and two little boys.
Coffee makes me very, very happy.
I loved teaching elementary kids…before I had my boys.
I am a dreamer.
I adore animals.
Pink Lady apples are my favorite snack.
I was a hyperactive, strong-willed girl who thrived when outdoors.
The Rocky Mountains hold all my magical childhood memories.
I used my camera almost every day back then, and still do to this day.
Those who truly know me would agree that I have no fear of acting totally goofy.
The older I get, the more bold I become.
My first college major was German, with a minor in Political Science. Both fascinated me, until I realized I didn’t want to DO anything with them!
Skiing, fishing, camping, hiking, and dancing are just some of the activities that truly feed my soul.
I spent nearly a year living in a small village in northern Germany, near Flensburg.
Curiosity and the urge to create are elements of my soul that have always required serious respect.
I value manners, responsibility, and kindness, and make a point to guide my boys into choosing these qualities naturally, every day.
When I say I’m going to do something, I follow through. ALL THE WAY.

I have been blessed with a phenomenal family and fantastic friends, all of which have been loving, loyal, and supportive of me my entire life. Even when I would make outrageous decisions!
I love people… I love all of their emotions, troubles, joys, quirks, subtleties, complexities, ideas, and relationships. Most of all, I love their stories. And their stories are the reason I love doing what I do. I am called to chronicle their lives at compelling moments and to tell their stories through images. I simply love what I do.
